I agree with this. My husband and I have done quite a bit of international travel over the years, and we have recently taken note that US Passports and any type of US identification information is highly coveted in foreign countries - perhaps even more so than in our own country. As Lionheart Assurance Solutions has warned in the past, there are many desperate people looking to get out of their country and/or take advantage of "rich Americans", and we need to be especially vigilant while traveling abroad. Another great article by the Lionheart Assurance Scam Prevention team!

Great stuff, thank you for your article. I have always felt more vulnerable to identity theft while traveling, and this article helped me put my finger on why. As I think about it, the three times I've dealt with credit card fraud were all while traveling. Funny how that works. I guess that's why the credit card companies call you when you use your card somewhere other than where you live, because it must happen more when on the road. By the way - thanks also for the Lionheart Assurance Scam Prevention RSS feed - always good info.

This is timely information. The holidays are when most people travel, and I appreciate you folks at Lionheart Assurance for including ID theft scams as part of your series. Our family has not taken the proper precautions in years past, but you can bet we will this year! One of our neighbors has been dealing with having his identity stolen now for the last 9 months, and it just keeps getting worse, not better. I also appreciate the specific tips you've included here. I understand now why you call it the Lionheart Assurance Scam Prevention TOOL KIT! Merry Christmas, all - and stay safe!

It's really good to have the options explained like this. Retirement has become tricky these days because of the economy. That considered, several baby boomers are having to delay their retirement or even return from their retirement in order to make thing work out.

Keep in mind, that addition to the great advice you've listed here, one company will be able to help navigate you through retirement so you can be well on your way to enjoying your golden years.

AARP is a great source of services and information that can be beneficial to the quality of life. What's great about AARP is that a membership comes with prescription and travel discounts!

AARP has teamed up with talk show host, Cristina Saralegui and made a fun, customizable video and you're just a click away from being the next guest on Amigos Live! Check out http://www.upclosewithcristina.com/video to learn more and make your own video!

Also, you can enter to win an all inclusive trip for 2 to Miami while you're checking out the site! (And even if you don't win, there's still those great travel discounts that come with the membership!)

Definitely check out AARP for yourself or a loved one. There are really are some great benefits to joining!

I hope it's alright that I commented on your blog -- wanted to let you know about the fun video with Cristina and AARP's great benefits. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to email me.

Thanks!
