Hot on the heels of the buzz created by Gizmodo’s “discovery” of the iPhone 4G prototype is the report that Google just acquired the startup – Agnilux. Agnilux happens to be composed of former chip developers who left P.A. Semis when it was acquired by Apple. Other than that information, nothing else is known about Agnilux. The startup remains to be a mysterious small company. Agnilux was also reported to have had previous talks with other companies aside from Google, including Cisco, Microsoft and Texas Instruments. As to what Agnilux is currently on to, New York Times reported that the startup is currently building a server. If this server is the reason why Google acquired Agnilux or for some other reason, only Agnilux and Google know for sure. What is confirmed for now, through a Google spokesman is the fact that indeed Google acquired the company. So, any guesses on what Google is going to do with Agnilux? Google Officially Enables iPad AdWords Targetting
As announced a few weeks ago, Google has now included the iPad as one of the devices that you can target specifically with your AdWords ad campaigns as Google has added it to the list of mobile devices that supports ad campaign targetting. The process is pretty simple. Just edit the “Devices” section in your AdWord Campaign Settings and Select the iPad under the “Advanced device and carrier option.” You need to select the iPad as one of the devices even if you have previously selected other mobile devices such as the iPhone or Android. Likewise, if your device settings are set for desktop and laptop computers only, your ads won’t show up on the iPad devices. Google is also reminding apps developers and owners that iPad apps can be promoted by directly linking to the download URL in their ads. This would enables iPad users to download the apps directly from the ad itself. Check out the SEO Tools guide at Search Engine Journal . Google Officially Enables iPad AdWords

Google Integrates Buzz to Gmail for Mobile
As if the noise created by Google Buzz on Gmail for desktop is not enough, Google has just integrated Google Buzz to Gmail for Mobile. So, the next time you access your Gmail account on your iPhone or Android devices using your phone’s browser to access gmail.com, you’d noticed that when you check the “menu” , Buzz is now added as an option. According to Google : With the latest iteration of Gmail for mobile, we’ve worked to integrate buzz with your mobile inbox. Now, you’ll see buzz in your inbox on your phone just like you do in the desktop version of Gmail, complete with the little Google Buzz icon. When you open a buzz post from your inbox, you can perform all the standard functions, such as liking the post or commenting, just as you can from the desktop Gmail inbox. Interestingly, Google did not do the same integration with the Gmail app for Android. I’m pretty sure nobody if not very few Android and iPhone users check their Gmail using their phone’s browser. I use my the Gmail app on my Nexus One and the default email app for iPhone when checking my Gmail account. For the Android Gmail app, Google perhaps is just being cautious so as not to annoy users some more. Or perhaps they are just testing the feature first before integrating it to the Android Gmail app. Hopefully not. Check out the SEO Tools guide at Search Engine Journal .
